Lafayette Art Night Out - Aug. 14

I will be leading a live interactive painting demonstration and showing my work in the tent outside of pARTiculars this Friday Aug. 14 from 5-9pm. Art Night Out is an amazing celebration of art, music, food and community along

S. Public Road in Lafayette. Join your friends or make new ones at this wonderful community event. The gallery featuring over 40 local artists will be open and offering refreshments.

Classes at pARTiculars -I am excited to be back from my summer travels and will be teaching at pARTiculars again this fall. I have created an exciting lineup of classes on Wednesdays from 11:30-2. Beginning Acrylic Bootcamp - Sept. 16. One day workshop designed for those who have never painted!
Clouds and Fall Scenes in Acrylic - Sept. 23 & 30. Learn to paint beautiful fall scenes including aspens and clouds.
Paint Like the American Masters - October 7, 14, 21 & 28. Examine the style and techniques used by O'Keefe, Hopper, Wyeth and Basquiat. We will create unique paintings based on their style.
Simplified Landscapes in Acrylic and Mixed Media - Nov. 4, 11 & 18. Using acrylic paint interesting paper, we will create bold, simplified landscape paintings.
Gel Print Seasonal Cards - Dec. 2 & 9. Learn how to use gel plates, acrylic paint, interesting paper and a variety of tools to create 2 dozen seasonal cards. I will provide supplies for a fee. No experience necessary.

Living Arts Garden Party - Sept. 16 at the Lyons Farmette

I am excited to be among the artist painting plein air among the dahlies at the Lyons Farmette on Wed. Sept. 16 from 5-8pm. In addition, artists will offer gardens inspired work for sale . This event is a fundraiser for the Lyons Creative District. Your $25 admission to the event includes nature-inspired art displays, viewing of plein air artists, live music and a garden themed appetizer and a cash bar. Additional donations are encouraged. The event is sponsored by the Lyons Creative District & Lyons Gardening Club with the venue donated by the Lyons Farmette.

Boulder Open Studios Tour - October 3-4 & 10-11

Join me at pARTiculars Gallery in Lafayette during the first two weekends in October from 12-5pm. I create and teach at the gallery so this year, I am trying something new by showing in the gallery instead of my home studio. Fellow artist Anne Gifford will join me and the work of 40+ local artists will also be on display. The Tour is a fantastic way to learn about and buy local art while supporting the artists that create it!
