Boulder Open Studios Tour - October 3-4 & 10-11

Join me at pARTiculars Gallery in Lafayette during the first two weekends in October from 12-5pm. I create and teach at the gallery so this year, I am trying something new by showing in the gallery instead of my home studio. Fellow artist Anne Gifford will join me and the work of 40+ local artists will also be on display. The Tour is a fantastic way to learn about and buy local art while supporting the artists that create it! This self guided event is family-friendly, free to the public and features artists throughout Boulder County. All 160 artists on the Tour will be represented at the Preview Show through November 30 at the Canyon Gallery at the Boulder Public Library. Classes at pARTiculars -I am excited to be back from my summer travels and will be teaching at pARTiculars again this fall. I have created an exciting lineup of classes on Wednesdays from 11:30-2. Paint Like the American Masters - October 7, 14, 21 & 28. Examine the style and techniques used by O'Keefe, Hopper, Wyeth and Basquiat. We will create unique paintings based on their style.

Simplified Landscapes in Acrylic and Mixed Media - Nov. 4, 11 & 18. Using acrylic paint interesting paper, we will create bold, simplified landscape paintings. We will create our own gel print paper as part of the class.

Gel Print Seasonal Cards - Dec. 2 & 9. Learn how to use gel plates, acrylic paint, interesting paper and a variety of tools to create 2 dozen seasonal cards. I will provide supplies for a fee. No experience necessary.
